Our Story
DeSean Jackson has created memories as an amateur and professional football player for over 20 years. In 2018, DeSean and his older brother Byron founded Play 4 Life Foundation, in honor of their late father, Bill Jackson. Play 4 Life teaches physical, mental and parenting skills through football camps to underserved communities.
Our Approach
DeSean and Byron have been conducting youth football camps across the country for over a decade, applying Bill’s 5 core principles; Desire, Dream, Vision, Believe and Power. Each Play 4 Life camp also features “Parent University”, a parental guidance training program developed by educator Karlos Carter.
Our Reach
Play 4 Life’s immediate focus is to reach as many urban communities as possible through athletics. Byron and DeSean coach fundamentals and discipline that extend far beyond the football field through their 5 core principles.
